The number of Madrasah in Indonesia and the large number of students in each Madrasah make Madrasah an institution that deserves to be taken into account in nation building in the field of education and morals. The continuous improvements made to the Madrasah, both in terms of academic management (curriculum) and facilities, have made the Madrasah out of the impression of being an outdated school that it has been carrying.As which carries out skills education as an effort to empower students. Based on this background, the author establishes several problems, namely: What types of skills education are implemented, what methods are applied in skills education activities, and how efforts are made to improve student empowerment with skill education.The research conducted by the author is included in qualitative descriptive research. And in collecting data, the author uses observation, interview, and documentation methods.. The results of the research conducted by the author can be conveyed here that: The types of skills education carried out in Al-Huda, Sidorahayu Village, Waway Karya District, East Lampung are: 1) carpentry skills, 2) workshop skills, 3) fashion skills, 4) computer skills, 5) scout skills, and 6) youth scientific work skills. The method used in learning this skill is the learning by doing method, which is learning while working. The empowerment efforts carried out are: 1) establishing cooperation with the government or related government agencies, higher institutions and the community around the Madrasah and establishing cooperation with external parties as an effort to obtain support and coaching in teaching and learning activities of various types of skills needed by students in Madrasah, 2) By offering some skills that will be of interest to students so that they can get extra guidance, 3) Involve students in competitions related to education and skills.
