Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the use of information technology in improving student learning outcomes in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMK Negeri 1 Talang Ubi. The data collection techniques used through interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were obtained by means of observation, direct interviews, and documenting, Islamic religion subject teachers and students, teachers have used information technology as a learning resource, namely learning using information technology that is already available in schools as a learning tool, such as laptops, internet, LCD and projector. The results of the study show that. First, the use of information technology in Islamic religious subjects, teachers use learning by using technological equipment. Both teachers can take advantage of information technology because they want to foster their students' enjoyment of Islamic religious subjects
