Abstract

School-Based Management (SBM) is the coordination and adjustment of resources carried out independently by the school through a number of management inputs to achieve school goals within the national education framework, by linking all groups with an interest in the school directly in decision making. In short, SBM is school management autonomy in participatory decision making. In improving the quality of education, schools are looking for a solution by implementing school-based management. Based on the results of observation interviews and documentation regarding the implementation of madrasa-based management in an effort to improve the quality of Aqidah Akhlak learning at SDIT Khoiru Ummah Liwa. The results of the research stated that the planning stage was quite good. In general, the implementation of madrasa-based management in improving the quality of Aqidah Akhlak learning at SDIT Khoiru Ummah Liwa includes: Curriculum management and teaching programs, management of educational personnel, student management, financial management, management of facilities and infrastructure and management of madrasah relations with the community.
