Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the significance of the relationship between work motivation (X1) and teacher performance (Y) and work culture (X2) on teacher performance (Y) and together with teacher performance (Y) at the Tahfizd Plus Khairul Ummah Sumedang School. West Java Academic Year 2023/2024. The research method used is a correlational survey method. The research respondents were all teachers at the Tahfizd Plus Khairul Ummah School, Sumedang, West Java, 54 teachers for the 2023/2024 academic year. The data collection technique uses an instrument in the form of a questionnaire. The research results show that: first, there is a positive relationship with quite strong criteria between work motivation (X1) and Teacher Performance (Y) with a coefficient ry1 = (0.635)2 = 0.403 or a coefficient of determination of 40.30% with the regression equation Ǔ = 27.677 + 0.726 X1. Second, there is a positive relationship with quite strong criteria between work culture (X2) and teacher performance (Y) with a correlation coefficient ry2= (0.533)2 = 0.284 or a coefficient of determination of 28.40% and a regression equation Ǔ = 29.376 + 0.606X2. Third, there is a positive relationship with strong criteria between work motivation (X1) and work culture (X2) together with teacher performance (Y) with a correlation coefficient ry12 = (0.737)2 = 0.543 or a coefficient of determination of 54.30% with regression equation Ǔ = - 3.302 + 0.639X1+ 0.466X2. From the research results, it can be concluded that teacher performance at the Tahfizd Plus Khairul Ummah School, Sumedang, West Java, for the 2023/2024 academic year can be improved through increasing work motivation and teacher work culture.
