This study aims to analyze the pedagogical competence and professionalism of Quran teachers in overcoming learning difficulties at Majelis Ta'lim Tarbiyatul Ummat, Pandeglang, Banten. The research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, collecting data through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that the pedagogical competence of teachers is generally adequate, although challenges remain in applying diverse teaching methods. Teachers rely more on qira'ah and tahsin methods, which are effective for beginner students, but less so for those wishing to explore tafsir or other aspects of the Quran. The professionalism of the teachers is evident in their dedication to providing spiritual guidance, although there are limitations in the use of educational technology. The most common learning difficulties encountered by students are related to reading the Quran with correct tajwid and understanding the meanings of verses. This study suggests enhancing the pedagogical competence of teachers through ongoing training, utilizing technology in teaching, and developing more contextual and engaging teaching methods.
