Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts made by SDI Imam Syafi’i in Sangatta Utara District to improve human resource (HR) quality in the 2024/2025 academic year. The primary focus of this research is to explore the steps taken to enhance teacher competence, educational management, and supporting infrastructure for the learning process. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings show that SDI Imam Syafi’i has implemented various training programs for teachers, both internal and external, as well as guidance conducted by the school principal and education supervisors. The educational management applied by the school is also quite effective, though there are challenges in communication among the related parties. Furthermore, the management of facilities and infrastructure has been a key focus with classroom renovations and the addition of computer facilities, although there are still limitations in terms of adequate technology. The main challenges faced include time constraints for teachers to attend training and coordination issues in administrative management. Overall, despite various obstacles, efforts to improve HR quality at SDI Imam Syafi’i have shown significant progress.
