PERAN PROFESIONALISME GURU TERSERTIFIKASI DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PENDIDIKAN DI SDN 2 SAWAH BREBES TANJUNG KARANG TIMUR BANDAR LAMPUNG

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the role of certified teachers' professionalism in improving the quality of education at SDN 2 Sawah, Brebes, Tanjung Karang Timur, Bandar Lampung. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach, involving observations, interviews, and document analysis. The findings show that certified teachers apply their competencies well in the learning process, such as effective classroom management, the use of varied teaching methods and media, and increasing student motivation and engagement. However, several challenges were found in the implementation of certification, such as limited facilities and learning support resources and a lack of continuing training after certification. Despite these challenges, the positive impact of certification on the quality of learning is evident, and to improve its effectiveness, adequate educational facilities and continuous professional development programs are required. In conclusion, the professionalism of certified teachers significantly impacts education quality, but other supporting factors must be addressed for more optimal implementation.
