Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of parental education and students' learning motivation at MTs Manarul Huda, Srijaya Makmur Village, Nibung District, Musi Rawas Utara Regency. This research used a quantitative method with a correlational approach. The sample consisted of 60 students selected randomly. Data were collected using questionnaires to measure the level of parental education and students' learning motivation. The results showed a significant relationship between parental education level and students' learning motivation. The higher the parents' education level, the higher the students' motivation to learn. This was demonstrated by the statistical test results, which yielded a significant positive correlation. This study reveals that parental involvement in children's education is crucial, especially in providing emotional and academic support. With higher education, parents are better able to create a supportive learning environment and motivate their children. Therefore, schools need to collaborate with parents to improve students' learning motivation, especially from families with lower education levels.
