Abstract

Human Resource Management (HRM) is a crucial aspect in improving education quality, including in Islamic schools. This study aims to explore how HRM plays a role in enhancing the quality of Islamic education services at MIN 1 Lampung Timur. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, where data is collected through interviews with the head of the school, teachers, and administrative staff, as well as direct observation. The findings indicate that HRM at MIN 1 Lampung Timur is systematically managed, including recruitment, training, task distribution, and performance evaluation. Enhancing teacher competence through training and workshops, distributing workloads more evenly, and utilizing technology in teaching are the main strategies to improve the quality of Islamic education. Although challenges exist, such as limited number of teachers and budget, effective HRM has a positive impact on improving teaching quality. Therefore, efficient and effective HRM is essential to enhance the quality of services at MIN 1 Lampung Timur.
