PENINGKATAN MUTU LAYANAN PENDIDIKAN DI SMK MUHAMMADIYAH 2 PALEMBANG TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024-2025

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the efforts made by SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang in improving the quality of educational services for the academic year 2024/2025. A qualitative approach was used in this research, with data collection techniques involving interviews, observations, and documentation. The main focus of this study includes four aspects: teaching quality, infrastructure and facilities, curriculum, and evaluation of learning. The findings indicate that the school has implemented various efforts to improve teaching quality by adopting technology-based learning methods and varied media. However, challenges remain regarding some teachers' technological skills. In terms of facilities, while adequate, some classrooms and laboratories still require improvements. The implemented curriculum meets standards but requires evaluation for content overload. The evaluation system includes academic and practical exams, but it is necessary to add project-based assessments to better reflect students' readiness for the industrial world. In conclusion, SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Palembang has made considerable progress in enhancing education quality, but improvements are still needed in several areas for optimal results.
