MEDIA PERMAINAN LOOSE PART DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA PADA PENDIDIKAN DI TK ISLAM RUHAMA KOTA BEKASI TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/ 2025

Abstrak

One of the media that can be used to stimulate children's language skills is the loose parts game. This media provides an exploratory experience that allows children to interact with various shapes, textures, and symbols freely, so that it can help them recognize letters and develop early reading skills. However, there are still obstacles in recognizing letters and early reading in several early childhood education institutions. Therefore, innovative efforts are needed to improve the language skills of early childhood, one of which is by optimizing the use of loose parts media in learning activities. This study aims to determine children's responses to the use of loose part media in language learning, identify obstacles faced by teachers, and analyze the effectiveness of loose part media in improving the ability to recognize letters in early childhood at Ruhama Islamic Kindergarten. The research approach used is a qualitative method with observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The subjects of the study consisted of teachers and children at one of the PAUD institutions that had implemented the use of loose parts media in learning activities. The results of the study showed that children were more enthusiastic, active, and motivated in recognizing and exploring various letter forms through activities involving loose parts games. Based on the analysis of learning outcomes, the use of loose parts media has proven effective in improving children's ability to recognize letters. However, in its implementation, teachers face several obstacles, such as limited time in preparing loose parts materials and difficulty in maintaining children's focus during the activity
