This study aims to improve the social-emotional development of children aged 5-6 years in Group B through the role-playing method. Role-playing is a learning method that allows children to express emotions, engage in social interactions, and understand roles in daily life. This study uses a classroom action research approach consisting of two cycles: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects were 15 children aged 5-6 years who showed difficulties in social-emotional aspects. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and anecdotal notes, then analyzed qualitatively descriptively. The results indicate a significant improvement in children's social-emotional development after applying the role-playing method. The children became better at managing emotions, showing empathy, and enhancing cooperation and social communication skills. The second cycle showed better progress than the first, with more intensive teacher guidance and a greater variety of role-playing themes. This study confirms the importance of role-playing as an effective strategy to support early childhood social-emotional development. The practical implication is that early childhood educators should implement this method systematically to help children grow into socially and emotionally mature individuals.
