Etos Kerja Kepala Sekolah Untuk Meningkatkan Pendidikan Di SDIT Albanna Natar Kabupaten Lampung Selatan, Tahun Pelajaran 2024 / 2025

Abstract

This study aims to describe the principal's work ethic in improving the quality of education at SDIT Albanna Natar, South Lampung Regency, in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research subjects include the principal, teachers, and school staff. The results show that the principal demonstrates a strong work ethic through discipline, responsibility, hard work, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to improving educational quality. The principal actively leads the learning process, supervises teacher performance, facilitates student activities, and builds partnerships with parents and the community. A participatory and communicative leadership style strengthens the involvement of all school members in realizing the educational vision. The principal's work ethic also contributes significantly to character development in students and the improved performance of teachers. This research concludes that the success of educational improvement in schools is highly determined by the principal's work ethic, which is grounded in exemplary values, collaboration, and responsibility. Therefore, strengthening principals’ work ethic is a strategic step toward sustainable education quality development.
