PENERAPAN MANAJEMEN BERBASIS SEKOLAH DASAR DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN AQIDAH AKHLAK DI SDN 2 SUKAJAWA TANJUNGKARANG BARAT

Abstrak

This research aims to investigate the implementation of School-Based Management (SBM) in improving the quality of Aqidah Akhlak learning at SDN 2 Sukajawa, Tanjungkarang Barat. The background of this study is the urgent need to improve the quality of Islamic Religious Education, especially Aqidah Akhlak, as a foundation for character building from an early age. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques including interviews, observations, and documentation. The subjects of the study were the school principal, Aqidah Akhlak subject teachers, and the school committee. The findings reveal that SBM implementation has been carried out adequately, as indicated by the involvement of all stakeholders in planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision processes. However, several challenges were identified, such as a lack of innovation in teaching methods, limited learning media, and low parental involvement in supporting the Aqidah Akhlak learning process. Despite these obstacles, there has been an improvement in students' academic performance and religious attitudes. Thus, SBM contributes significantly to enhancing the quality of Aqidah Akhlak learning in primary schools. It is recommended to improve teacher competencies, provide sufficient learning media, and optimize the roles of parents and the community to ensure a more effective implementation of SBM
