Abstract

This study employs a qualitative descriptive method, focusing on direct field observations and the analysis of data obtained from various sources. The results indicate that Islamic education and life skills are inseparable components, as they form an integrated whole in daily life. The study also reveals that the concept of life skills can serve as a new direction in Islamic education through the integration of various life skills aspects with religious learning.

Based on the findings, life skills applications can equip students with abilities, competencies, and readiness, both in the fields of information technology and religious education. It is expected that every student will possess personal, rational, social, academic, and vocational skills aligned with Islamic education as preparation for life.

The results of this study are expected to serve as a constructive means for improving the quality of Islamic education, both theoretically and practically. However, since this research is not yet conclusive, further studies are recommended to review and expand upon these findings.
