This study aims to analyze the strategies of Islamic education management in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Teacher performance is one of the important factors in determining the success of the learning process and the quality of education in madrasahs. Therefore, effective educational management strategies are needed so that teachers can carry out their duties and responsibilities professionally. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the head of the madrasah, teachers, and educational staff as research subjects. The results of the study indicate that the strategies of Islamic education management in improving teacher performance were implemented through work program planning, academic supervision, providing motivation, improving teacher competence through training and workshops, and strengthening a disciplined and religious work culture. In addition, the head of the madrasah also applied effective communication and periodic evaluations to improve teacher professionalism in the learning process. Supporting factors in implementing these strategies include good cooperation among school members, adequate facilities and infrastructure, and teachers’ commitment to improving educational quality. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are limited facilities, the low technological competence of some teachers, and the less optimal participation of several educators. Therefore, Islamic education management strategies play an important role in improving teacher performance and supporting the creation of better educational quality at Madrasah Tsanawiyah.
