Abstract

This study aims to analyze the creative learning strategies implemented by teachers in developing the social-emotional abilities of early childhood children. Social-emotional ability is an important aspect of child development that includes the ability to interact, manage emotions, cooperate, and build positive social relationships with the surrounding environment. In the early childhood learning process, teachers play a strategic role in creating enjoyable, interactive, and stimulating learning environments to optimally support children’s social-emotional development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving teachers and learning activities in Early Childhood Islamic Education institutions. The findings indicate that the creative learning strategies implemented by teachers include role-playing activities, storytelling, singing, group games, simple project-based learning, and providing positive reinforcement to children. These strategies were proven to improve children’s communication skills, cooperation, emotional control, empathy, and self-confidence. In addition, a conducive learning environment and collaboration between teachers and parents also support the optimal development of children’s social-emotional abilities. Therefore, teachers’ creative learning strategies play an important role in developing early childhood social-emotional abilities as the foundation for character building and children’s readiness for social life.
