This study aims to analyze the implementation of transformational leadership by the head of madrasah in improving the quality of education at Madrasah Tsanawiyah (MTs). Transformational leadership is a leadership style that is able to provide a positive influence on improving educational quality through motivation, innovation, and the development of human resources within the madrasah environment. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques were conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects included the head of the madrasah, teachers, and educational staff. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of transformational leadership by the head of the madrasah was carried out through motivating teachers, strengthening a collaborative work culture, improving teacher professionalism, and developing innovative educational programs. In addition, the head of the madrasah also played an active role in creating a conducive and religious learning environment to enhance the quality of education. Supporting factors in the implementation of transformational leadership include good cooperation among madrasah members and adequate facilities and infrastructure, while the inhibiting factors are limited resources and the low participation of some school members. Therefore, transformational leadership of the head of the madrasah has an important role in improving the quality of education at MTs through effective, innovative, and quality-oriented educational management.
