INTEGRASI NILAI-NILAI ISLAM DALAM MANAJEMEN KURIKULUM MERDEKA DI MADRASAH
Abstract
This study aims to examine the forms of Islamic values integration in Merdeka Curriculum management at madrasah and the factors influencing its success. Merdeka Curriculum, launched by the Ministry of Education, provides flexibility for educational units to develop contextual operational curricula — a highly relevant opportunity for madrasah to integrate Islamic values more systematically. The study employed a qualitative approach with a case study design at three state madrasah aliyah that have fully implemented Merdeka Curriculum. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed using Miles, Huberman & Saldana's interactive model. Results show that integration of Islamic values is implemented through: (1) developing Madrasah Operational Curriculum based on tawhid values; (2) developing P5-PPRA projects; (3) aligning Learning Outcomes with Islamic competencies; and (4) cultivating Islamic values in differentiated learning practices. The study concludes that Merdeka Curriculum provides significant space for madrasah to strengthen its Islamic identity through innovative curriculum management
