ANALISIS MANAJEMEN STRATEGIK PADA LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM MODERN
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the application of strategic management in modern Islamic educational institutions in facing competition and environmental change dynamics. Modern Islamic educational institutions are required not only to excel in religious dimensions but also to be competitive in academic, managerial, and innovative aspects. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through interviews, observation, and documentation at three prominent modern Islamic educational institutions. Results show that strategic management in modern Islamic educational institutions includes: (1) internal and external environmental analysis using an Islamic SWOT framework; (2) strategy formulation based on Islamic vision-mission; (3) strategy implementation through a balanced scorecard adapted to Islamic values; and (4) strategic evaluation and control based on Islamic accountability and transparency. The key success factor is the integration of academic excellence orientation with Islamic value integrity in every managerial aspect.
