Abstract
This study aims to examine the role of educational management in strengthening student character at Islamic educational institutions. Character education is a central agenda of national education that requires strong and integrated educational management systems. The study used a qualitative method with a case study approach at three integrated Islamic schools with excellent track records in character education. Data collection techniques included in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Results found that educational management plays a role in character strengthening through: (1) integrated character program planning across all school management components; (2) human resource organization with exemplary orientation; (3) character program implementation through habituation, school culture, and value-based learning; and (4) continuous and comprehensive character monitoring and evaluation. The conclusion affirms that effective educational management is a fundamental prerequisite for the realization of systematic, sustainable, and impactful character strengthening programs for students.
