Abstract

The development of information technology in the digital era demands that Islamic educational institutions innovate in administrative governance to become more effective, efficient, and integrated. Management Information Systems (MIS) are one strategic solution to support modern and professional madrasah administration. This study aims to analyze the optimization of Management Information Systems in improving the effectiveness of madrasah administration, including student data management, teacher administration, finances, and academic services. The method used is qualitative research with a library research approach, through analysis of various scientific literature sources, journals, books, and previous research relevant to the research topic. The results indicate that the implementation of Management Information Systems can improve the speed, accuracy, transparency, and accountability of madrasah administration. Furthermore, the use of MIS also simplifies data archiving, decision-making, and coordination between departments within the educational institution. In conclusion, the optimization of Management Information Systems positively contributes to improving the effectiveness of madrasah administration and supports the creation of adaptive and high-quality Islamic education governance in the digital era.
