IMPLEMENTASI PENDEKATAN KONTEKSTUAL BERBASIS NILAI ISLAMI DALAM PEMBELAJARAN DI SEKOLAH DASAR ISLAM TERPADU
Abstract
This study aims to examine the implementation of the contextual approach (Contextual Teaching and Learning/CTL) integrated with Islamic values in learning at Islamic Integrated Elementary Schools (SDIT). The Islamic value-based contextual approach is a pedagogical innovation that connects learning materials with students' real-life experiences while organically instilling Islamic values in the learning process. The study used a qualitative method with a case study design at three SDITs affiliated with the Islamic Integrated School Network (JSIT) of West Sulawesi Region. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, learning observation, and documentation studies involving 9 classroom teachers and 3 school principals. The results found that CTL implementation based on Islamic values in the three SDITs was carried out through three main strategies: (1) contextualizing learning materials with students' daily lives linked to Qur'anic and Sunnah values; (2) using inquiry and problem-solving methods that encourage students to think critically from a tawhid perspective; and (3) building a warm and collaborative learning community based on ukhuwah Islamiyah. The study concludes that Islamic value-based CTL can enhance the meaningfulness of learning, active student engagement, and simultaneously strengthen the authentic internalization of Islamic values.
