MANAJEMEN PROGRAM KEAGAMAAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KARAKTER RELIGIUS PESERTA DIDIK DI MAN 1 METRO

Abstract

This study aims to describe the management of religious programs in improving the religious character of students at MAN 1 Metro. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection was conducted through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the madrasah principal, vice principal for student affairs, Islamic education teachers, religious program supervisors, and students. The findings indicate that MAN 1 Metro has implemented a systematic religious program management encompassing planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation stages. The religious programs include congregational dhuha and dhuhur prayers, Al-Qur'an tahfidz, kitab study, pesantren kilat, and Islamic holiday activities. The implementation of these programs has proven effective in improving students' religious character, marked by increased worship compliance, moral strengthening, and internalization of Islamic values in students' daily lives.
