Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of school principal managerial competencies in creating an effective school at SDIT Rabbani Bone. The principal's managerial competence is a key factor in improving educational quality, encompassing the ability to plan, organize, lead, and evaluate all school resources systematically and measurably. This study employed a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews with the principal, vice-principals, teachers, and school committees, as well as documentary studies. Data analysis used the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model through data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the principal of SDIT Rabbani Bone has optimized managerial competencies through four main dimensions: (1) strategic program planning based on school needs; (2) effective organization of human resources and facilities; (3) mobilization and empowerment of teaching staff through clinical supervision and continuous professional development; and (4) quality control through periodic evaluation and performance accountability. Effective school indicators achieved include improved student academic and non-academic achievement, a conducive school culture, active parental engagement, and a collaborative organizational climate. This study recommends strengthening principal capacity through competency-based training and continuous managerial mentoring.
