REKONSTRUKSI PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM MELALUI PENDEKATAN INTERDISIPLINER: INTEGRASI ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE, NEUROSAINS, DAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DI ERA SOCIETY 5.0

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the urgency of reconstructing Islamic Religious Education (IRE) through an interdisciplinary approach integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI), neuroscience, and character education as a learning paradigm relevant to the demands of the Society 5.0 era. It also seeks to formulate a conceptual model for reconstructing Islamic Religious Education based on the integration of Artificial Intelligence, neuroscience, and character education as a foundation for developing innovative, humanistic, adaptive, and character-oriented learning that fosters religious students equipped with twenty-first-century competencies. This study employed a qualitative approach using a library research method through the review and analysis of reputable scientific journal articles, academic books, and relevant policy documents. Data were analyzed using qualitative content analysis and thematic analysis through the processes of data reduction, coding, categorization, interpretation, and conceptual synthesis. The findings indicate that the integration of Artificial Intelligence, neuroscience, and character education establishes a new paradigm for Islamic Religious Education that is more holistic, adaptive, and contextual. Artificial Intelligence enhances learning effectiveness, personalization, and flexibility; neuroscience provides a scientific foundation for designing brain-based learning strategies; while character education serves as the primary foundation for internalizing Islamic values, noble character, and digital ethics. The study concludes that reconstructing Islamic Religious Education through an interdisciplinary approach is a strategic and relevant solution for developing learners who are religious, morally grounded, digitally literate, and capable of addressing the challenges of the Society 5.0 era without compromising their Islamic identity
