ANALISIS STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN SEKTOR PERTANIAN DALAM PERSPEKTIF EKONOMI ISLAM (Studi Pada Dinas Pertanian Di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah)

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the development strategies of the agricultural sector from the perspective of Islamic economics, with a case study at the Department of Agriculture in Central Lampung Regency. The agricultural sector plays a strategic role in supporting food security, creating employment opportunities, and alleviating poverty, particularly in rural areas. In Islamic economics, the development of the agricultural sector is not only viewed in terms of productivity and economic efficiency but also in terms of justice, sustainability, and the blessing (barakah) of the outcomes. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with field studies, in-depth interviews, and documentation of strategic programs implemented by the Department of Agriculture. The findings indicate that the agricultural development strategy in Central Lampung includes the provision of production facilities, the enhancement of farmers’ capacities, and the strengthening of sharia-based farmer institutions. Although there are still various challenges such as access to capital and the distribution of agricultural products, Islamic economic principles—emphasizing justice, cooperation (syirkah), and the avoidance of riba—have begun to be integrated into several assistance and agricultural partnership programs. These findings highlight the importance of synergy between technical policies and Islamic values in achieving sustainable and equitable agricultural development in the region
