Abstract

Abstract
This study aims to analyze the impact of the implementation of cooperative learning of the word square type on students' learning outcomes in Social Studies (IPS) for the fourth-grade students of SD IT Ar Rahman Jatimulyo in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used is a quasi-experimental method with a pretest-posttest control group design. The sample consists of two classes, one applying the word square method and the control class using conventional methods. The results demonstrate a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of students taught with the word square method compared to the control class. This research provides an important contribution to the development of more effective learning methods in elementary education environments.
