Strategi Guru Dalam Pengelolaan Kelas Untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Pembelajaran PAI

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze teachers’ strategies in classroom management and their contribution to improving the quality of Islamic Education (PAI) learning. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, using observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings reveal that teachers implement various classroom management strategies, including the arrangement of the physical classroom environment, consistent application of classroom rules, reinforcement of positive behavior, diverse teaching methods, and effective interpersonal communication. These strategies successfully create a conducive learning atmosphere and enhance student engagement in PAI learning. Furthermore, teachers apply Islamic value–based approaches to foster discipline, respect, and students’ religious character. Challenges found in the process include differences in student characteristics, limited instructional time, and inadequate supporting facilities. Overall, the study concludes that effective classroom management plays a significant role in improving the quality of Islamic Education learning.
