MODEL KEPEMIMPINAN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU MATA PELAJARAN SEJARAH KEBUDAYAAN ISLAM

Abstract

Madrasah internally consists of various elements, such as the head of the madrasah, educators, students, curriculum, and supporting facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, externally, the madrasah establishes relationships with various other institutions, both vertically and horizontally, in order to achieve educational goals. In addition, improving teacher competence and professionalism is also crucial. Given the ever-growing global challenges, the roles and responsibilities of teachers in the future will be increasingly diverse and complex. Therefore, teachers are required to continue to improve their abilities and adapt to the times in order to carry out innovative and effective learning. The purpose of this study is this study is what is the leadership model of the Madrasah Principal in improving the Pedagogical Competence of Islamic Cultural History Subject Teachers at MTs Negeri 3 Rokan Hulu? What strategies are used by the Madrasah Principal in improving the abilities of Islamic Cultural History subject teachers and class mastery at MTs Negeri 3 Rokan Hulu? This research is included in the category of descriptive qualitative research. The results of this study are the Leadership Model of the Principal of MTs Negeri 3 Rokan Hulu in Improving the Pedagogical Competence of SKI Teachers applied is the "contingency or situational leadership model" with its indicators and the Leadership Strategy of the Principal of MTs Negeri 3 Rokan Hulu in Improving the Pedagogical Competence of SKI Teachers is by using the "Participatory" strategy.
