IMPLEMENTASI PENDIDIKAN AKIDAH AKHLAK DALAM MENINGKATKAN NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER PADA PESERTA DIDIK DI MTs AL FALAH KECAMATAN PAGAR DEWA KABUPATEN LAMPUNG BARAT

Abstrak

This study aims to explore the implementation of akidah akhlak education in enhancing character values among students at MTs Al Falah, Pagar Dewa District, West Lampung Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that akidah akhlak education at MTs Al Falah is implemented through various methods such as lectures, discussions, case studies, and extracurricular activities like study circles and social activities. The implementation of this education has a significant impact on students' character development, especially in aspects such as honesty, discipline, respect, and responsibility. Students who participate in akidah akhlak education also demonstrate improvement in social interactions, such as being friendly and caring for others. However, challenges exist in the implementation of this education, including limited parental support and the negative influence of the social environment outside of school. Therefore, closer cooperation between the school, parents, and the community is essential in supporting the development of better character among students.
