Abstract

This study examines the relationship between organizational culture, work motivation, and teacher performance at SMP IT Az-Zahra, Islamic Boarding School, Jati Agung, Lampung Selatan. The research aims to understand how these factors influence the performance of teachers in the school setting. Using a combination of questionnaires, interviews, and observations, the study found that organizational culture plays a significant role in enhancing teacher performance. The organizational culture at SMP IT Az-Zahra is centered around Islamic values, collaboration, discipline, and mutual respect, creating a positive work environment that supports teachers in performing their duties effectively. Additionally, work motivation was found to be high among teachers, with a strong correlation between recognition, rewards, and increased motivation. Despite these positive factors, the study identified challenges such as insufficient resources and limited opportunities for professional development. Overall, the study highlights that a positive organizational culture and high work motivation are crucial for improving teacher performance. It is recommended that the school continues to strengthen its organizational culture, implement more structured reward systems, and provide better resources and professional development opportunities for teachers to enhance their performance.
