IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN SUMBER DAYA TENAGA KEPENDIDIKAN DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS KINERJA GURU PAI DI SMK TEKNOLOGI KOTA WARINGIN TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of educational personnel resource management in improving the quality of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers’ performance at SMK Teknologi Kotawaringin in the academic year 2024/2025. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the planning of educational personnel needs is carried out systematically, teacher recruitment is conducted through strict selection, and teacher competency development is implemented through regular training and workshops. Teacher placement and coaching are based on competence and experience, although supervision tends to be administrative and lacks constructive feedback. Teacher performance evaluation is also applied with clear instruments but has shortcomings in transparency and evaluation criteria clarity. The main challenges include limited budget, human resources, and support from related parties. In conclusion, effective management of educational personnel resources can improve the quality of PAI teachers’ performance, but improvements in supervision, training, and evaluation systems are necessary for optimal results.
