Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership on the effectiveness of educational management in Islamic educational institutions. Principal leadership plays a strategic role in directing, managing, and developing all educational components to achieve institutional goals optimally. This research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents consisting of teachers and educational staff. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis to determine the level of influence of principal leadership on the effectiveness of educational management. The findings indicate that principal leadership has a positive and significant effect on the effectiveness of educational management. Principals who implement communicative, democratic, and professional leadership are able to improve the quality of planning, organizing, implementation, and supervision in educational management. In addition, harmonious working relationships between principals and educators contribute to achieving optimal effectiveness in educational management. Therefore, principal leadership is considered an important factor in improving the quality of educational management in Islamic educational institutions.
