Analisis Kritis Kesenjangan antara Budaya Religius Madrasah dan Perilaku Keagamaan Peserta Didik di Era Digital

Abstract

This study critically analyzes the gap between the religious culture constructed by madrasah and the actual religious behavior of students in the digital era. Using a critical phenomenological approach at three State Madrasah Aliyah in Lampung Province, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and analysis of students' digital artifacts. The results identify four main forms of the gap: ritual-digital gap, value-behavior gap, on/offline identity gap, and real-virtual community gap. Causal factors include the lack of Islamic value-based digital literacy education, weak value internalization beyond superficial ritualization, and the absence of madrasah's role in students' digital spaces. This study recommends reconstructing madrasah religious culture that is holistic, contextual, and theologically and pedagogically responsive to digital world dynamics.
