INTEGRASI NILAI-NILAI KEISLAMAN DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DAN MENGEMBANGKAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL SISWA

Abstrak

This research aims to analyze how the application of Islamic values, such as patience, gratitude, sincerity, compassion and justice, can shape students' character while increasing their emotional intelligence. This research uses a descriptive-qualitative approach by analyzing various literature related to the integration of Islamic values ​​in forming students' character and emotional intelligence. The research results show that Islamic values ​​make a big contribution in forming positive attitudes, such as self-control, empathy and social awareness, which are the main components of emotional intelligence. By understanding Islamic teachings about managing emotions, such as patience in facing life's trials, an attitude of gratitude towards Allah's blessings, and the importance of maintaining harmonious relationships between people, students can be better prepared to face emotional challenges in everyday life. This article concludes that the integration of Islamic values ​​in Islamic religious education is an effective effort in forming character and developing students' emotional intelligence, which contributes to the creation of individuals who are better, have noble character and have balanced emotional abilities.
