PELAKSANAAN MANAJEMEN WAKIL KEPALA SEKOLAH BIDANG KESISWAAN DALAM PENINGKATAN PELAYANAN PROSES PEMBELAJARAN (STUDI KASUS DI SD IT FAJAR HIDAYA)

Abstrak

Educational management plays an important role in improving the quality of learning in schools. The Vice Principal for Student Affairs is responsible for managing various aspects related to students, including character development, discipline, and learning services. The success of an organization, including educational institutions in a competitive environment, certainly cannot be separated from the school's ability to find out and meet needs and provide good services, especially in the learning process effectively. Efforts to serve education users (students) are one of the important strategies for institutions to achieve quality and quality education because services to students will provide an assessment response to educational institutions. Therefore, researchers need to conduct a study related to the learning process service at SD IT Fajar Hidaya and the various efforts made in the process. This study aims to examine how the planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising the management of the vice principal for student affairs in improving the learning process service at SD IT Fajar Hidaya. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, where the researcher acts as the main instrument, supported by other instruments such as interview guidelines, observation guides, and audio and video recording tools. The subjects of this study included subject teachers, vice principals for student affairs, and madrasah principals at SD IT Fajar Hidaya. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews and documentation. Data analysis in this study consisted of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study showed that student management planning was prepared based on school capacity, student needs, and demands of the times.
