STRATEGI PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER ANAK USIA DINI MELALUI BUDAYA SEKOLAH USIA 5-6 TAHUN DITKIT QURROTA AYUN TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to describe strategies for developing character in early childhood through school culture at TKIT Qurrota Ayun during the 2024/2025 academic year. Character education is a vital component of early childhood education, as this period is a golden phase in children's moral and social development. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that character formation is carried out through four main strategies: role modeling, habituation, individual approach, and collaboration between school and parents. Teachers at TKIT Qurrota Ayun consistently serve as role models in religious and social behavior, build positive habits through routine activities, provide personalized attention to students based on their needs, and establish intensive communication with parents to reinforce the values taught at school. These strategies effectively instill honesty, discipline, responsibility, and religious values in children aged 5–6. This study recommends strengthening a school culture that holistically and sustainably supports character development..
