KREATIVITAS GURU PAI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK DI SEKOLAH DASAR NEGERI 9 PENUKAL UTARA TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the creativity of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in improving students’ motivation and learning outcomes at Sekolah Dasar Negeri 9 Penukal Utara in the 2024/2025 academic year. This research employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques included observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of PAI teachers, the school principal, and students from grades IV, V, and VI. The results of the study indicate that the creativity of PAI teachers is reflected in the use of varied teaching methods such as group discussions, educational games, visual media, and inspirational storytelling. Teachers also create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages active student participation. This creativity significantly enhances students’ motivation, both intrinsically and extrinsically. Moreover, students’ learning outcomes improved across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Supporting factors for teacher creativity include the teacher's enthusiasm for learning, support from the school principal, and collaboration among teachers. However, some challenges remain, such as limited time and teaching facilities. Overall, the creativity of PAI teachers plays a vital role in supporting the success of Islamic religious education in elementary schools.
