PERSEPSI GURU PAUD TERHADAP MANFAAT DAN TANTANGAN DALAM MENGGUNAKAN PLATFORM MERDEKA MENGAJAR DI WILAYAH KEC. CIANJUR

Abstrak

This study aims to explore Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers’ perceptions of the benefits and challenges in using the Merdeka Mengajar Platform (PMM) in the Cianjur District. Using a qualitative approach through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, this study reveals two primary aspects of teacher perception. First, teachers recognize significant benefits of PMM, particularly in providing teaching references, enhancing competence through self-paced training, and fostering collaboration through learning communities. Second, teachers face serious challenges such as limited technological infrastructure, low digital literacy, heavy workloads, and a lack of institutional support. The findings indicate that the successful implementation of PMM is not solely determined by technological advancement but also by the readiness of human resources and adequate systemic support. Therefore, comprehensive and sustainable strategies are needed from the government, platform developers, and educational institutions to ensure that this platform can truly support inclusive and optimal early childhood education transformation.
