PERAN STRATEGIS KEPALA SEKOLAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI SD ISLAM KARAKTER KHOIRUNNISA KABUPATEN CIANJUR TAHUN 2024-2025

Abstrak

The improvement of educational quality at SD Islam Karakter Khoirunnisa, Cianjur Regency, for the 2024-2025 academic year is influenced by the strategic role of the school principal. This qualitative research using a case study method collected data through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results reveal that the principal plays a crucial role in formulating the school's vision and mission, developing strategic plans, and overseeing the implementation of educational programs. The principal is also actively involved in fostering a school culture that supports character development by integrating Islamic values into the learning process. Additionally, the principal plays a significant role in enhancing teachers' competencies through continuous professional development. Proper management of human resources is key to improving educational quality. Adequate facilities and supporting infrastructure also contribute to creating a conducive learning environment for students. However, challenges such as budget constraints and technology limitations must be addressed. Overall, this study concludes that the school principal plays a strategic role in enhancing the quality of education through integrated steps, from planning to overseeing the implementation of educational policies.
