KEPEMIMPINAN VISIONER DIREKTUR UTAMA DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN DI YANBU’UL QUR’AN BOARDING SCHOOL 1 PATI

Abstrak

The findings indicate that visionary leadership at YQBS 1 Pati combines an authoritarian (militaristic) leadership style with a visionary and consultative approach. The Director General enforces strict supervision through direct inspections, technology-based attendance systems, and a reward and punishment policy to enhance teacher discipline. Furthermore, the visionary approach is manifested in the integration of Qur’anic education with science and technology, producing graduates with balanced academic and religious competencies. The implications of this research suggest that the visionary leadership model can serve as a reference for other Islamic boarding schools in improving education quality through adaptive, innovative, and Islamic values-based management strategies. This study also contributes to the development of educational leadership theories in the context of Islamic boarding schools adopting an integrated system.
