Pengaruh Tingkat Pendidikan Orangtua Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Siswa di MTs An-Nur Suka Pindah Kec. Rambutan Kab. Banyuasin Sumatra Selatan

Abstrak

Many factors affect student learning achievement, one of which is factors from within the family. The results of an interview with one of the students named OQ, said that OQ was rarely accompanied in studying or checking his child's assignments, so that OQ became To collect data relevant to this study, the Questionnaire method, Documentation Method, Observation Method, Interview Method were used. Thus the method used is a quantitative method. After the data is collected properly, the next step is to process or analyze the data to prove or test the hypothesis that has been formulated, while the analysis method used in this study is Percentage, Chi Square analysis method. From the existing data from 73 parents of MTs An-Nur Suka Pindah students, 72 at college level, and 1 at high school level. And from 73 MTs An-Nur Suka Pindah students. There are 52 with high learning motivation, and 21 with low learning motivation. The results of the research that has been carried out show that there is an influence between the role of parents and the learning motivation of MTs An-Nur Suka Pindah students. Because the interpretation value is very strong. = 8.32 less motivated in studying and often do not collect homework on time and get mediocre exam scores. Both parents are busy with their work so they do not have time to always accompany their children in studying.
