SUPERVISI AKADEMIK KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PEMBELAJARAN DI MTS BAITURRAHMAN TELUK KUANTAN TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

Academic supervision conducted by the Principal of MTs Baiturrahman Teluk Kuantan is an effort to improve the quality of learning through coaching and guidance to teachers in planning learning, implementing the learning process, and evaluating student learning outcomes in order to achieve the goals that have been set. This study uses a qualitative approach that is descriptive in nature, namely the researcher only describes, analyzes phenomena, events and activities carried out related to academic supervision conducted by the principal of MTs Baiturrahman Teluk Kuantan with data collection techniques through: (1) observation (2) in-depth interviews, and (3) documentation studies. Based on the results of the study, the following findings can be concluded: (1) the academic supervision program of the principal of MTs Baiturrahman Teluk Kuantan is compiled based on the results of the analysis of supervision and monitoring of the previous learning process; the principal's academic supervision program is compiled at the beginning of the school year, the principal's academic supervision implementation strategy includes: supervising learning devices, supervision with class visit techniques, and observing teacher activities in class, and implementing follow-up to the results of academic supervision in the form of personal and group coaching.
