Implementasi Manajemen Pendidikan Karakter dalam Mengembangkan Minat, Sikap dan Perilaku Positif Siswa di SD IT Mutiara Cendekia Tahun Pelajaran 2024-2025

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the implementation of character education management in developing students’ interest, attitudes, and positive behavior at SD IT Mutiara Cendekia in the 2024–2025 academic year. This research employs a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data collection techniques include observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research subjects consist of the principal, teachers, students, and parents. The results show that the implementation of character education management is carried out through four managerial stages: planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. In the planning stage, the school designs a character education program integrated with the curriculum and school culture. Organizing is done by forming an implementation team responsible for executing and supervising character activities. Implementation is carried out through integrated learning, religious programs, extracurricular activities, and habituation routines. Evaluation is conducted regularly to assess effectiveness and student character development. This implementation has proven effective in increasing student interest in learning, fostering positive attitudes such as responsibility, discipline, and empathy, and shaping behavior aligned with Islamic values. The support of the principal, active role of teachers, involvement of parents, and a conducive school environment are key factors in the success of character education management at this school.
