PENGARUH BIMBINGAN KONSELING DALAM PEMBINAAN AKHLAK PESERTA DIDIK DI SMA NEGERI SEMADAM TAHUN PELAJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to examine the influence of counseling guidance on the moral development of students at SMA Negeri Semadam in the 2024/2025 academic year. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of moral education in schools, where educational institutions are not only centers of academic learning but also key arenas for character building. The research employs a quantitative approach with an explanatory design. The population includes all students participating in counseling services, with a purposive sample of 60 students. Data collection instruments consist of a Likert-scale questionnaire measuring two main variables: the intensity of counseling services and indicators of students' moral behavior.The results of statistical analysis reveal a significant positive influence of counseling guidance on students' moral development, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and an R² of 0.412. This indicates that 41.2% of students’ moral development is influenced by counseling services. These findings reinforce the vital role of counseling in shaping students' behavior, ethics, and moral values. Therefore, strengthening the role of school counselors and the involvement of the entire school community is essential to enhance the holistic character development of students.
