Manajemen Pendidikan Madrasah: Antara Tradisi Dan Modernisasi Study Analisis Kompetensi Profesional Guru Paud Dalam Proses Pembelajaran Di Tk Aba Biak Kabupaten Banggai Sulawesi Tengah Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the professional competence of Early Childhood Education (PAUD) teachers in the learning process at TK ABA Biak, Banggai Regency, Central Sulawesi, during the 2024/2025 academic year. Professional competence is a critical aspect for teachers, encompassing mastery of subject matter, learning planning, instructional implementation, and assessment of children's development. This research employed a qualitative approach using a case study method. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis involving teachers and the school principal. The findings indicate that PAUD teachers at TK ABA Biak show strong commitment to child development and are capable of creating a joyful learning environment. However, there are notable shortcomings in their deep understanding of teaching materials, the variety of instructional methods used, and the implementation of holistic and authentic assessments. Learning plans are largely administrative and not fully oriented toward the individual needs of children. Supporting factors for competence development include the teachers' intrinsic motivation and the principal’s support, while inhibiting factors consist of limited training opportunities, lack of resources, and minimal use of technology. This study recommends continuous professional development and constructive academic supervision to comprehensively enhance PAUD teacher professionalism.
