UPAYA GURU DALAM MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK MATA PELAJARAN FIQIH DI MADRASAH TSANAWIYAH MUHAMMADIYAH SUKARAME BANDAR LAMPUNG TAHUN AJARAN 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to describe teachers’ efforts in enhancing students’ learning motivation in the subject of Fiqih at Madrasah Tsanawiyah Muhammadiyah Sukarame Bandar Lampung in the 2024/2025 academic year. The research adopts a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of the Fiqih teacher, students, and the head of the school. The results show that the teacher implemented various strategies to increase students’ motivation, such as using diverse learning methods like group discussions, simulations, and the integration of digital learning media. The teacher also integrated Islamic values into the subject matter and applied a personal approach to the students. Supporting factors included the teacher’s commitment, the school’s religious culture, and the support of the headmaster and parents. In contrast, inhibiting factors included low student interest, limited facilities, and varying academic abilities. The teacher’s efforts had a positive impact on students’ motivation, as seen in increased classroom participation, enthusiasm, and academic performance. The study recommends stronger collaboration among teachers, the school, and parents to create a conducive learning environment that consistently fosters students’ learning motivation.
