MUTU LAYANAN PENDIDIKAN DI SMK NEGERI 1 LABUHAN MARINGGAI KECAMATAN LABUHAN MARINGGAI KABUPATEN LAMPUNG TIMUR

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the quality of educational services at SMK Negeri 1 Labuhan Maringgai, Labuhan Maringgai District, East Lampung Regency. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The study focused on four main aspects of educational service quality: input, process, output, and user satisfaction. The results indicate that in terms of input, the availability of educators is quantitatively sufficient, yet there is a need for continuous professional development. Facilities and infrastructure are generally adequate, but vocational practice equipment remains limited. Regarding the process, teaching and learning activities are conducted according to the curriculum, but innovative learning approaches are not yet optimally implemented. Supervision activities are still administrative in nature and lack reflective development. In the output aspect, the graduation rate is high, but the absorption of graduates into the workforce is low and often mismatched with their field of study. Meanwhile, in terms of user satisfaction, students and parents are fairly satisfied, though they expect improvements in information services, character development, and students’ work readiness. This study concludes that the educational service quality at SMK Negeri 1 Labuhan Maringgai is fairly good but requires strengthening in several strategic areas to achieve optimal service quality
