IMPLEMENTASI MANAJEMEN KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN KINERJA GURU MADRASAH RAADHIYATAN MARDHIYYAH PUTRI BALIKPAPAN TAHUN 2024/2025

Abstrak

This study aims to describe the implementation of school principal management in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Raadhiyatan Mardhiyyah Putri Balikpapan during the 2024/2025 academic year. The focus of this research includes planning, implementation, supervision, and the strategies used by the principal to enhance teachers’ professionalism and performance. This study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the principal effectively implemented management functions, including: (1) Planning, by designing programs to improve teachers’ competencies through training and workshops; (2) Implementation, by providing guidance, academic supervision, and encouraging collaboration among teachers in developing learning tools; (3) Supervision, through regular performance evaluations and constructive feedback; and (4) Professional development, by fostering work discipline, rewarding achievements, and motivating teachers. The effective implementation of school principal management has had a positive impact on improving teacher performance in lesson planning, teaching implementation, and student learning assessment.
